From the plains to the mountains, from the hills to the lakes, everyone can find, among the more than 1600 companies currently active, the one that best meets their desires. And to find them, the new paper guide "Farm holidays in Lombardy: where it is natural to feel at home" has been revived, presented on Friday March 24th 2017 at the "Corte Negella" farm and agritourism farm in Felonica, in the province of Mantua, the easternmost municipality of the province and the region, located in a strip of territory between Veneto and Emilia-Romagna.

The guide (203 pages, in pdf format, which can be downloaded as an annex in full format and divided by province) consists of an introduction in three languages: Italian, English and German and over 1600 farmhouses, divided into all 12 provinces of Lombardy . The name, location, address, municipality, telephone number, site and e-mail and the symbol that represents the services offered are indicated. In Lombardy farms it is often possible to stay and, very often, have lunch or dinner; but also carry out sporting and cultural activities or buy genuine products.

Some companies also offer the opportunity to camp in tents or campers. The farm catering varies a lot from company to company: it goes from simple dishes to menus suitable for the most demanding palates. However, an element is always constant: the typicality, the genuineness and the freshness of the products.

By law at least 30% of what is served on the table must be produced by the company itself and, for a share of not less than 40%, provided by other farms in the area or obtained by converting raw materials of local origin. In the farm you can also find many products for sale including wine, salami, fresh and aged cheeses, fruit, vegetables, eggs, honey, preserves, flowers and more.
